Workforce and Secondary Vocational Education Data Reporting

The Office of Education, Information & Accountability is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting Workforce Education and Secondary Vocational data.

Definitions:

Secondary Vocational

defines those students that are enrolled in high school taking vocational programs.

Workforce Education

defines those students that are enrolled in either a technical/vocational center or a community college, taking adult vocational or adult general educational.  Students enrolled at community colleges can also be taking college credit courses.

School districts report on those students at the high school level that are enrolled in vocational educational programs.

School districts also report on students enrolled in postsecondary adult vocational and adult general education at their technical/vocational centers.

Community colleges report on those students at the postsecondary level that are enrolled in all vocational education, college credit and non-college credit, as well as adult general education.
