If an examinee does not take, retake, or complete a test on the scheduled test date, fees may be transferred to a subsequent test administration under the following conditions:
- The applicant writes a letter indicating he or she could not take the test on the scheduled test date due to the
- illness or injury of the applicant or a member of the applicant's immediate family.
- death of a member of the applicant's immediate family.
The term immediate family is defined as the applicant's spouse and the grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren of both the applicant and the spouse.
- The illness or injury is attested to by a medical doctor using official letterhead stationery, or in the case of death, a newspaper obituary stating the relationship of the deceased to the applicant may be used.
The letter from the applicant and the letter from the doctor, or the obituary, must be received in writing within 30 days after the test date at
