The National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) is responsible for determining when, where, and how NAEP results will be released. As soon as the release dates are announced, they will be listed on this Web page. Shortly after the results are released, a report of Florida’s results will be posted on the NAEP link from the Florida Department of Education Web site.

Notes about possible release dates for NAEP 2009 results:
Mathematics results for Grades 4 and 8 should be released in October 2009.
Reading results for Grades 4 and 8 may be released by March 2010. Achievement level cut-scores have not yet been set for the new reading framework. In addition, a “bridge study” is being conducted so results reported for the 2009 assessment will be comparable to the results from earlier assessments.
Science results for Grades 4 and 8 may be released by July 2010. The achievement level cut-scores have not yet been set for the new science framework.
All Grade 12 results will not be released until (1) all achievement levels for the 2009 frameworks have been determined, (2) the reading “bridge study” has been completed, and (3) NAGB has defined the “preparedness” dimension for Grade 12 reading and mathematics.
