Department of Education to Hold Press Conference to Announce New Math and Science Initiative

Governor Charlie Crist and Education Commissioner Jeanine Blomberg tomorrow will host a press conference in Tallahassee to announce a new math and science initiative for Florida. Governor Crist will be joined by Congressman Allen Boyd, State Board of Education member Donna Callaway, Florida State University President T.K. Wetherell, Florida State University College of Education Associate Professor Laura Hassler Lang, Ph.D., Space Florida President Steve Kohler and K-12 Public Schools Chancellor Cheri Pierson Yecke, Ph.D.
