The Education to Business Partnership Project offers a template to businesses about how to initiate, develop, foster, and execute collaborative education/business partnerships that will substantively address your current and future workforce needs.
Compiled by the Florida Department of Education in cooperation with Enterprise Florida and several local partners, this how-to guide will include a broad spectrum of activities for employer participation and how to get started. Also included are models of successful education/business partnership programs currently being conducted around the state as well as a list of partnership program opportunities available with your educational institutions.
The Florida Department of Education is committed to ensuring students in our system are focused on career development through the state's career academy programs, workforce education programs, and high school reform programs. All these programs are designed to train and develop Florida's talent pipeline by building skills and qualifications for our K-12 student population.
